How Much Billable Time Are You Losing On Your Smartphone?

Our staff delights in bringing to your attention cool new products that can increase productivity and streamline your work. An amazing new product that was recently released, called ClientCall-Manager by Time Technologies, is one of those products. It currently integrates with the Tabs3 time & billing product, but more integrations are expected shortly, including one with Time Matters.

It is the first comprehensive mobile device software that tracks all client call activity (inbound and outbound), as well as all email activity on your handheld. It can then wirelessly synchronize that time back to your office, and your time & billing software!

This software is currently available for BlackBerry devices, but will be released for Palm and Windows devices within the next month. ClientCall-Manager is distributed solely through consultants/resellers and Automated Horizons is proud to have added this product to our software offerings.

Client of the Month: The Law Offices of Richard J. Serpe, P.C.

The Law Offices of Richard J. Serpe, P.C. opened its doors on January 1, 2007, in downtown Norfolk, VA. Mr. Serpe focuses his practice in litigation, specializing in lead poisoning, traumatic brain injuries, maritime injuries and medical malpractice plaintiff cases. He regularly handles cases nationwide and is listed in The Best Lawyers in America ®. He has been named a “Super Lawyer” – among the top 5 percent of lawyers in Virginia - by Virginia Super Lawyers Magazine, as well as being AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Serpe is a frequent lecturer, speaking nationally on environmental and personal injury law.

Automated Horizons was proud to be involved in the launch of this new firm, providing consulting, hardware/software, data import/conversion, customization, training, and technology implementation.

The firm is using Worldox for its document management needs, a critical element for their huge record collections. They have Tabs3 for legal accounting, and a highly customized PracticeMaster database for case management. An Avaya IP Office telephone system was also implemented to integrate with PracticeMaster and Outlook. Control Systems cost recovery sends data seamlessly back to his Tabs3 billing program. Rounding out Mr. Serpe's software arsenal are CaseMap for litigation support and Adobe.

His office is geared for a more paperless approach, and his Canon ImageRunner digital document center plays a key role in that. One of the firm's associates telecommutes from Texas, therefore remote access was also a critical element.

Mr. Serpe has a top notch team of attorneys and staff in his office, and top notch technology, all of which help him achieve the best results possible.
