Amicus Premium 2008 has an exciting new feature that allows you to copy entire address blocks, including titles, phone numbers, email addresses, etc. and paste them into your Amicus contacts with all the appropriate fields parsed out!
 
Did You Know?
 
PracticeMaster is a highly customized practice management database, and almost any field you can imagine can be added to it.  Once you have all of your custom fields in place, those fields can be used in custom reports, with PracticeMaster's extremely versatile built-in Report Writer.  The fields can also be used to generate documents, using the built-in Word Document Assembly or HotDocs (required for WordPerfect).

New Release of Tabs3 and PracticeMaster
Software Technology, Inc. (STI) Header
has announced the release of
Tabs3 and PracticeMaster Version
14.3.
 
The Client Server Version (CSV) of the 14.3
release introduces HotBackup, a feature that allows
firms to back up their data while everyone continues to work in the software.
 
Additionally, CSV includes new Accelerators which significantly decrease the processing time of reports and statements. CSV also offers an Auto-Recovery
feature enabled by Transaction Processing Technology, which helps to ensure that data is kept safe, minimizes corruption, and can greatly reduce downtime.

Automated Horizons PracticeMaster Consultant of the Year; Named to President's Circle
 
President's Circle 2008Automated Horizons was recently honored with the 2007 PracticeMaster Consultant of the Year award, for the second year in a row.  AHI was also named to the Tabs3/PracticeMaster President's Circle for 2008.  

President's Circle status is awarded to the top 20
consultants in the nation.  This is the third consecutive year that Automated Horizons has received this honor.  We look forward to continuing to provide excellent service in 2008!

Law Technology News Awards
 
LTN AwardsThe 5th Annual LTN Awards were recently handed out at LegalTech in New York City. 
 
Tabs3 received awards for billing and practice management products. In fact, Tabs3 recently won the Law Technology News® Award for Best Time and Billing Software for Small and Mid-Sized firms (up to 99 Attorneys) for the 5th year in a row!   That is an unprecedented record for the LTN Awards.
 
Tabs3 and PracticeMaster also earned the title of
Finalist for Product of the Year.

CT Summation won three awards, being recognized
as the leader in e-discovery software, e-discovery
systems service, and litigation support software.
 
Other winners include Acrobat 8 Professional for Product of the Year (July 06-July 07), and Time Matters v8 - LexisNexis (Case/Practice Management Software Small/Mid for up to 99 Attorneys).
 
 
Spotlight On: Stacy S. Devlin
 
Stacy DevlinAutomated Horizons wants you to know more about the consultants you are working with.  To that end, we have initiated a "Spotlight On" segment, which we hope will help you get to know each of our Legal Technology Consultants a little better. This month's profile is on Stacy Devlin.
 
With Stacy's experience in the fields of education, law, and computer technology, she adds to the unique skill set at AHI.  Prior to joining AHI, Stacy worked for over eight years as a litigation paralegal, first in Charleston, SC and then for a Roanoke law firm. Stacy also has the unique experience of having worked as a law firm network administrator.  She has an extensive background in staff training of day-to-day software such as WordPerfect, PaperPort and Outlook.  She can also train your staff on the ins and outs of HotDocs document assembly software, Worldox document management software, and Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice recognition software.
 
While Stacy has experience with many different types
of programs, her forte is practice management software.  With her combined legal and technical experience, Stacy can intelligently discuss with you the software options available to make the day-to-day operation of your law firm run more smoothly.  She has extensive experience in the installation, customization and training of PracticeMaster.  She is also a Time Matters Certified Independent Consultant (CIC), a Worldox Administrator, and an Amicus Attorney Certified Consultant.
